M/s Campus Connect ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") operates education outreach services, including the ArtX platform and events, that connect art and design universities with prospective students. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website, register for or attend one of our expos/education fairs, submit an inquiry, subscribe to our newsletter, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the "Services").
By accessing our website, registering for an event, or otherwise providing us with your information, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein.
1. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly. This includes your name, phone number, email address, city/location, school or college name, academic interests, and any other details you submit through our website contact forms, event registration forms, newsletter sign-up, or during calls or counseling sessions with our team.
b. Information we obtain from third parties. In the ordinary course of our outreach and marketing operations, we purchase or license contact lists ("lead banks") from third-party data providers and lead generation partners, and we generate leads through advertising campaigns run on Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram) and other advertising networks. Where we acquire your information this way, we treat it in accordance with this Privacy Policy from the point we receive it, and we rely on our data providers and advertising partners to have obtained your information in compliance with applicable law.
c. Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information via cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, referring URLs, and general location data, as well as advertising identifiers used for retargeting and ad measurement (including Meta Pixel/Conversions API).
d. Information generated through our services. When you attend an expo, register interest in a university, or engage with our counseling team, we create records of your interactions with us, including call notes, counseling notes, application status, and university preferences.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for purposes including: contacting you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp, email, or other means to invite you to our expos and education fairs and to follow up on your interest; registering and managing your attendance at our events; providing counseling services and assisting you with university applications; sharing your profile and application-relevant information with participating universities and institutional partners so they may evaluate and follow up on your interest, admissions eligibility, or application; sending you newsletters, event invitations, and promotional communications about our services and partner universities; operating, measuring, and optimizing our advertising campaigns, including on Meta platforms; improving our website, services, and outreach operations, including through analytics; and complying with legal obligations, enforcing our terms, and protecting our rights, safety, and property, and those of our partners and users.
We may combine information collected from lead banks, advertising, our website, and your direct interactions with us into a single profile in order to provide and improve our Services.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share your information with: partner universities and institutions participating in our expos and counseling programs, for admissions, recruitment, and related purposes; service providers and vendors who support our operations, including calling/telecalling partners, CRM and marketing platforms, event management vendors, and IT/hosting providers; advertising and analytics partners, including Meta, for the purpose of running and measuring advertising campaigns; lead generation and data partners, where necessary to manage and de-duplicate contact records; successors, in connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of business assets; and regulators, law enforcement, or other parties, where required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration to unrelated third parties. Sharing described above is undertaken to operate and deliver our Services.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our website uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising, including retargeting through Meta and other ad networks. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect site functionality.
5. Calling, SMS, and Marketing Communications
By submitting your contact details to us, through our website, at an event, or via a source from which we purchase or receive your information, you consent to being contacted by our team and our calling partners by phone call, SMS, WhatsApp, or email regarding our events, counseling services, and partner universities, including where such contact may be for promotional purposes. 6. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to maintain business records, support ongoing counseling and university application processes, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We may retain de-identified or aggregated data indefinitely.
7. Data Security
